Cathy Richardson

Leigh Ann Menser Elrod and I have been best friends since 7th grade. In the fall of 1973, as college freshmen, she invited me to spend the weekend with her at Georgia Southern University. We went on a double date with Steve Elrod being my date! I guess that was the beginning of a long standing romance. We have shared many life experiences, including children’s births, new jobs, moves, parenting, health crisis, trips, grandchildren, and lots of love. Steve is funny, loyal, caring, a good cook, and very patient. Happy 70th birthday, my friend. With a heart full of love and good wishes, Cathy Curtan Richardson
