I am incredibly fortunate to have Steve as my father-in-law.  For over 30 years Steve has been more than just my father-in-law, he has been a mentor, role model, and constant source of support and guidance in both my personal and professional life.

As a young teacher, Steve played an instrumental role in shaping my practice, not by telling me what to do, but by leading through example. His guidance was always offered with care and encouragement, never with judgment. His influence has helped me grow not only as an educator, but also as a person, and even now his wisdom continues to shape how I navigate new challenges.

Even as my role has changed Steve’s steadfast support and guidance continue, just as they always have. His calm presence reminds me that even in the most difficult times in career or personal life, leading with empathy and careful thought is always the best strategy.

Beyond his professional influence, Steve has always exemplified what it means to be a great husband, father, and grandfather.  He embodies love, stability, and care bringing joy to everyone around him. His deep commitment to family is one I admire and aspire to in my own life. It is this example as a husband and father that I most hope to emulate in my own life.

Having Steve in my life is a gift I have never taken for granted and will always cherish.
